DESCRIPTION
A distinctive 43 mm custom marriage watch that pairs a vintage Elgin 15-jewel pocket-watch movement with a gold-tone wristwatch conversion case. Its winding crown is positioned at 12 o’clock, honoring the layout of the original pocket watch. The black dial, gold-tone numerals and traditional small-seconds layout preserve its vintage character, while the exhibition back displays the Elgin movement.
Before assembly, the movement is carefully inspected, cleaned and lubricated. The balance, escapement, winding system and time-setting mechanism are checked, and worn or damaged components are repaired, adjusted or replaced when needed, using original compatible parts from identical donor calibres whenever possible. After assembly, the completed watch is tested over time for proper starting, reliable operation and a stable rate, then tested again before shipping.
